Technology In the Classroom
This video was really funny. It shows how some people were hooked on the internet and some didn't have a clue. People in funny situation, making suggestions about the the internet, Video games in real life situations and more. I thought the video was funny, but it brought home a point. The internet is everywhere and we need to come to grips with the fact that we need it, it doesn't need us. It will keep evolving into whatever, whenever.

Please combine all parts of your blog assignment into ONE post. If you do the work at different times, SAVE instead of PUBLISH and then edit and add the next section to the same post. It takes about 3 hours longer to read the posts if every one separates the assignment into several posts.
ReplyDeleteThere is more to this video than the internet? What does it say about student behavior? What does it say about how we organize and arrange our classes. What does it say to you - a future educator - about how you should teach?
"...i'm missing the boat." It's not too late to catch it. Jump on board!
"DR. Strange will perform a miracle." Not me! It's up to you! We'll help spread the Miracle Grow. But the Miracle and the Growth come from you, not the fertilizer!
"but i was willing to learn, if i had to." I hope it's not just when you have to! Also a lot of uncapitalized Is in these posts. Ms. Yollis would throw you out of her 3rd grade!
"...contact Micheal Moore..." Or be Michael Morre yourself!
I don't think I teach. I try to create a learning environment in which learning can take place. The students then learn or they don't. Out of 134 in EDM310 this semester 20 have done nothing so far and a half dozen others have done only the bio post, the Wordle and/or another blog assignment. And that is better than normal!
